Rick Warren will be speaking at the assembly establishing the ACNA

Please encourage your friends to pray for this important event by “sharing” this on Facebook.

Please consider printing out / copying a number of copies of our leaflet promoting this prayer event for your Sunday services – you can leave it at a table at the entrance, at the coffee urn, etc. … We do hope to reach as many as possible, with the message about the importance of praying for this new church, particularly during the conference forming it.

I’m sorry that this is provided at such late notice … we didn’t have the actual schedule of events until yesterday afternoon.

This is the ACNA prayer event we described in our previous article Praying for the Upcoming ACNA Event.

The leaflet will also inform members of your congregation of the possibility of watching the event streaming at http://anglicantv.org/live – so even if they are not likely to pray with us in Second Life, they may feel called to watch the stream and pray for this event as it unfolds.

Times we will be meeting:

Monday 12:30 – 1:30 PM CDT (10:30 – 11:30 AM PDT) – opening eucharist;

Tuesday 11:10 AM – 12:10 PM CDT (1:10 – 2:10 PM PDT) – Rick Warren;

Wednesday 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM CDT (12:30 – 1:30 PDT) – Metropolitan Jonah;

Thursday 10:30 – 11:30 AM CDT (12:30 – 1:30 PM PDT) – Todd Hunter

These are the times some of us will be present for prayer – you can find the full schedule of the event at http://acnaassembly.org

You can download the leaflet at:

caption image clarification: Pastor Rick Warren is a Baptist minister, at Saddleback Church; he will be speaking at the assembly, but is not himself Anglican or part of the ACNA; the assembly will be occurring within an ecumenical context. It’s also one of the convictions of the Anglican Ecumenical Society that the Anglican Communion needs the gifts of all faithful Christians, to witness the way God has been working in different ways in all churches that glorify Him.

  1. Any further division in the Body of Christ means that the opposition wins…
